Be UNstoppable in the fight against cancer
The Massey Challenge, presented by Apex Systems, a division of Everforth, invites Virginians to step up to the fight against cancer by promoting health and wellness while supporting cancer research and innovation.
For more than 20 years, VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k have teamed up to make strides in the fight against cancer. So far, more than 15,000 participants have raised more than $5 million to prevent, detect and treat cancer, and to save lives in Virginia and beyond.
When: Saturday, April 18, 2026, 8 a.m.
Where: Monument Avenue in downtown Richmond

Register to run or walk the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k.
Cheer on participants on race day along the Massey Mile (Monument Avenue between Allen Avenue and Allison Street) and at the Finish Festival in Monroe Park to show your Team Massey spirit.
The moment a donation is made through the Massey Challenge, it goes directly into funding the important breakthroughs in cancer research being done right here in our community.
