Party with purpose and celebrate the end of summer with the Massey Alliance, VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center’s young professionals board. Massey on the River is an evening that brings people together with live music, local craft beer, wine and food, and a lively auction in the heart of River City. while raising critical funds for research and innovation at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Richmond’s best end-of-summer party takes place at the Thalhimer Pavilion at the Science Museum of Virginia each September.

Founded in 2002, the Massey Alliance is a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting and raising awareness for research, resources and programs at Massey through events, outreach and fundraising.

An evening of revelry featuring live music, local food and drink, a silent auction and giveaways, networking and more to help fight cancer

Massey Alliance Charitable Pickleball Tournament
This pickleball tournament at Bangers and Dinks brings alliance members and friends together to raise a racquet against cancer.

Appetizers & Advocacy
Gather at Common House Richmond for Appetizers & Advocacy, an annual event brings alliance members and friends together to hear from a Massey researcher about cancer topics impacting young people.

Massey at Belmont Golf Tournament
Drive, chip and putt to help fight cancer at this annual golf tournament, hosted by the Massey Alliance. Rally friends and colleagues to join you on the course, or as a sponsor or volunteer.

Spreading Holiday Joy
Each holiday season, the Massey Alliance teams up to bring joy to families facing cancer. Through the Christmas Family program, members provide gift cards and create holiday magic for children with a parent or family member being treated at Massey.
